The Swim Academy Network's original swim school, Propulsion Swim Academy, was established at the Melbourne University Parkville Campus in 2009. Located at the Beaurepaire Centre in Tin Alley, the elite facility includes a 25m indoor pool and an extensive gym that is home to the Swim Academy Network's affiliate swim club, Melbourne University Propulsion.
